A Brain storming Session on Moving Towards Cherished Goals of Good Governance is being organized at National University for Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA) 17- B Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi, from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm. Sri Rakesh Sahni, Chief Secretary, Govt. of M.P. and Chairman Executive Body of the School will chair the session which will be attended by the Directors of IIT-Kanpur, IIM-Indore, IIPA-Delhi. Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor of NUEPA-New Delhi and several senior administrators from the Govt. of M.P and Govt. of India.

The first meeting of the Executive Body of the University is held under the Chairmanship of the Chief Secretary, Govt. of M.P. to decide about implementation aspects including in principle approval of the General Financial and Administrative Rules (GFAR) for the School. EPCO and CPA are identified as the Govt. agencies to carry out the design and construction work of the School.

Scheme of Internship for Bright Young Students*

  1. Aim of the Scheme
    1. To attract, nurture and harness the young intellectual capital for the cause of strengthening good governance
    2. To familiarize the interested and willing bright young students with the overall process of Development of the State along with hiring their services for short term researches connected with analysis of policies, projects, schemes etc.
    3. Internship is very different from any regular job in the government. However, over a period of time it will generate a pool of young minds especially oriented to accept new challenges and problems encountered in achieving the goals of good governance.

  2. Eligibility
    1. Internship would be available for those students who are interested in studies related to the objectives of the School through exposure/ familiarization of the processes of governance and development of the State in local global scenario.
    2. Committed bright PG/Research students with uniformly good academic record studying in an institution of repute in India or abroad who are willing to spend short periods as an Internee in the School for active participation in projects, studies etc under the School.

  3. Guidelines / Salient Features of the Scheme
    1. Duration of internship will be for a total period of 1 to 6 months during any particular year. Frequency of study visits will be decided by the School but a minimum continuous stay and work for two weeks would be essential in each visit. Each Intern will be eligible for a lump sum honorarium of Rs.20,000/- per month or the School would provide reasonable boarding and lodging accommodation and transport (within the maximum limit of Rs.20,000/- per month) for their actual period of work. They will also be eligible for train travel expenses from their place of study to Bhopal and back by AC 3 Tier by shortest route. Similar Travel costs for travel from port of entry in India to Bhopal will be payable to students from abroad. Shared Office space and access to ICT facilities will also be available.
    2. Applications in prescribed form (see Annexure) will be invited from established reputed institutions and it will also be displayed on the website of the School, that is www.sushasanmp.in . A no objection certificate from Research Supervisor / Head of the Department/ Senior Faculty of the institution where the student is pursuing his study would be essential.
    3. Shortlisted applicants will be called for a presentation before a committee consisting of three Directors nominated by the Director General who would identify the specific areas of study its modalities and an Action Plan as agreed by the Internee. Subject to availability of funds and the priority for the study the Director General will take a final decision on the recommendations of the Committee of three Directors.
    4. The School will have the Intellectual Property Rights on the data collected, findings and all other outcomes of the projects undertaken by the internee. The contribution made by an internee in such studies will be duly acknowledged. However, no part of the foregoing components would be used elsewhere without prior written permission of the School on the recommendations of the Committee of Directors.
    5. Certificates will be issued to the Internees after successful completion of the study. at the end of their internship.
